The health-care debacle is nearing its conclusion, it will be forced on the American people, the majority of whom oppose it vigorously. Or it may simply die if the Dems are unable to muster enough votes to guarantee its passage.
I feel they will, after all, come-on, Dems with a spine? (My belief that health-care will pass is based on their track record of folding like a lawn chair, and I feel some Dems would rather hold their nose and pass an awful bill than no bill at all, regardless the outcome of the November elections. And, I seriously doubt the so called Blue-dog Democrats will have the backbone to resist the the WH, Pelosi & Reid.
I predict there will be a vote, I predict the Marxists Democrats will pass this god-awful bill and Obama will sign it into law. Never mind that the American people are against it, we are all morons, radicals, racists, (insert insult here), …who feel that our elected officials should actually give a damn about public opinion, right?
I doubt in the end many Democrats have the spine to oppose the pressure of the Marxists who have infiltrated their party, they will simply fold under the least amount of pressure asserted on them by Congressional leaders and/or the White House. So our President and Congress will play ‘ nanny’ to us all, go against public opinion under the guise of ‘we know better’ so sit back and shut the hell up.
I think most democrats feel they already face rough times in any re-election bid regardless if this health-care monstrosity passes or not. They face a huge mountain of distrust and anger not only from the right but from Independents, moderate democrats, as well as from the far-left. A significant majority of the people want nothing to do with Obamacare or socialized health-care, however Obama and congress totally ignore the people or polls that do not agree with their ideology.
The people, aside from far-left progressives, are sick of their reckless spending habits and their pushing the nation towards a socialistic state. Many undoubtedly will lose their jobs based solely on their job performance the past year, regardless if Obamacare passes or not. So, if many democrats who may be thinking of a no vote, look at the dim prospects of getting re-elected due to past job performance, why would they be inclined not to support Obamacare if they may lose their jobs with a Yes or No vote? What would prevent them, in the true spirt of Marxism, to go out with a bang instead of a whimper? What would prevent them from passing Obamacare as one last arrogant act of defiance towards the American people before the door hits them in their collective asses? Nothing, so I expect no less from these spineless weasels.
I say let the moronic far-left have their day in the spotlight, let the vermin who infest the White House and Congress have their victory, albeit brief as it will be. The people will extract our pound of flesh on these anti-Americans come the November elections. Republicans will sweep to victory and prevent any further legislative dung-heaps from becoming law.
If the democrats are successful in passing Obamacare, rest assured they will guarantee Obama’s lame-duck status after just two years into his first and only term. What these current misfits do now, against the people’s will, true Americans can undo, and to the democrats – there will be hell to pay for all the arrogance you have shown towards the American people.
Obama is in a political death match, he has got to achieve a victory on health-care or face the fact his first year in office was a total failure. More than just empty promises, his followers have already begun to dessert him, the independents, moderate democrats, as well as the far-left are upset with him and suggest there is no hope for a second term. However, instead of trying to unite the people and preserve his popularity and support, his Marxist ideology emerges and prevents him from any form of reconciliation without further distancing himself from the other segments of his support base.
Obama is a far-left zealot without any practical experience to lead anything or to even make sound judgments, he’s a total failure as president. Some, at least one, can view Obama's failure as a bright spot, Carter can look forward to being bumped into second place as the worst president in American history, a spot Obama will assuredly hold longer than Carter did.
So, in the end I feel Obama, Reid and Pelosi will get what they so desperately desire, a horrifying victory of a bill that stinks to high-heaven, one which no one except the far-left really wants, but one that the Dems feel comfortable enough with to bet their control of congress on. And you thought democrats were simply misguided and could never be ignorant enough to commit political suicide on such a grand scale!
I hope I am wrong, I hope Obamacare dies without it even being put to a vote, but I honestly feel the democrats will not shock me, I think they will fold under the pressure and give the Marxists in their party a victory just before they are shown the door.
